Another Ocean is a somatic movement and meditation class, an experience, a gathering and a circle.
In Another Ocean, we practice listening to be moved from within. Somatic prompts are offered to inspire movement explorations that invite an opening to new places of responsivity.
When we dance, we dance together with the sounds of the city, the wood floors and breathing bodies all intertwined. We listen for relationships both inside and outside while connecting to bones regenerating themselves and making blood, blood being refreshed from a spiraling heart and circling breaths. What is my heart, blood and bones saying that I have not yet heard?
In meditation, we slow down and make space for what is possible and for what is unknown. We explore the deep, mysterious ocean of spontaneous presence.
Informed by decades of somatic research, Suniti offers a class that is rich with imagery and filled with invitations to unfold and experience what feels alive and intimate.
We enter a community experiment that nourishes connection to land and to each other, to humans and non-humans and we remember our belonging with earth and space.

$70-$120 sliding scaleDrop-In: This is a great option if you won’t be able to attend several of the classes in the series or if you are new to this work and want to check out the class.
$18-$30 sliding scale
I offer a sliding scale with an interest in decreasing barriers to participate. If you experience financial ease, consider paying at the top end of the scale to create scholarships and opportunities for others to pay at the lower end of the scale. There are scholarships for anyone in need please reach out for more info.
